Security screening

Safety remains our number one priority. Security screening is a critical part of airport safety protocols.

The screening area will be renovated as part of the terminal expansion project increasing to three screening lanes, with additional room for a fourth lane. This will create more space for queue management, divestment, and customer recompose areas.

At the same time, we will be upgrading our domestic screening facilities including Computed Tomography (CT) X-rays and body scanning equipment and checked baggage security screening technology.

The airport’s international screening point was upgraded in April 2021.
