Forecourt

The forecourt, conveniently located in front of the terminal building, provides additional outdoor seating and open-air facilities offering travellers a pleasant area to pause before continuing their journey.

Construction of the new forecourt began in June 2023, delivered by local construction company, Moore Civil. Tasmanian products such as local aggregate, sandstone pavers, and plantings create a natural and local feel to the space.

A pop-up coffee shop, Crate Café, operates in the forecourt providing coffee, toasties, pastries and other snacks. A great option for travellers and those waiting to collect loved ones.
