Departures lounge
As part of the terminal expansion plans, we’re making the Departure lounge bigger to improve the customer experience and ensure we can meet current and future passenger growth.
Summary of works:
- Increase boarding gates from five to seven
- Improved seating and space for boarding queues
- Increased food and retail options
- Additional toilets, dedicated parent rooms, and accessible bathroom facilities
- A service animal relief facility
Hobart Airport will also upgrade its international facilities for those travelling overseas. This will include improved facilities and amenity once passengers have completed international screening and are waiting to board their flight.
